How can we help children learn kinetic principles through the means of making and playing? In this project I designed and produced a toy with 3-d printed modular parts that allows young children to make their own simple drawing machines using snap-together linkages.
Revive turns an old smartphone into an interactive clock and timer. All commands are triggered by physically interacting with the device. E.g. Shake, tilt, flip, rotate. The graphics on screen respond to the interactions and unexpected motions can be triggered each time to bring a delightful surprise.
The project is a series of Vinyl/CD cover design for an imaginary pop rock singer Arko Smith’s album “The Granite Rose”.
